I received a popup message telling me I have a critical error on my Mac and to call the number 1800 954 288
It's a total fake.
There is nothing wrong with your computer...they are just trying to take your money. They are not Apple approved support.
Amazing they allow the telco's to hand out 1800 numbers to scammers.
Does nobody check what the numbers are being used for?
